NSW: Teenagers are just dying for a suntan

SYDNEY, Feb 4 AAP - New South Wales teenagers are "just dying" for a suntan, despite being
fully aware of the health dangers involved, a study showed today.

A NSW Cancer Council survey of 10,000 high school students aged between 12 and 17 found
that most youths had a high knowledge of skin cancer and sun protection.

However, many favoured obeying the latest trends and fashions and failed to adequately
protect themselves from the sun.
