Vic: GP corp backs CEO over coroner's criticisms
MELBOURNE, Feb 8 AAP - The Australian Grand Prix Corporation today strongly backedchief executive John Harnden following the coroner's findings on the death of track marshalGraham Beveridge.
Corporation chairman Ron Walker said coroner Graeme Johnstone had determined the AGPCwas ultimately responsible for safety at the race.
But he had also pointed out that the corporation could delegate safety management,Mr Walker said.
